Maybe some features on the video resemble a gothic imagery, but, really i think of this band more as an avantgarde-experimental intent, rather than industrial(i think of ATR or Ministry, even NIN as industrial music). Also, I really think that this band is hard to fit in styles or generes, but their music is great!... cheers too!

Nov 25, 2008 - Lol, ten years after, he realises Ulver doesn't give a ** about their old tentatives of doing noisecore/folklore music. Stop acting like a metalposer and making us believe you were even born when Ulver sold some audiocassettes. Personnaly, I think their old stuff was more "emo-friendly" and "vein-cutting-friendly" if you prefer. This now sounds original, experimented, not sad at all, but rather objective music, for intelligent ears only.

Nov 28, 2008 - good rebuttal. It's unfortunate that there's always going to be "music fascists" who oppose free thought and experimentation. That's one of the reasons that good bands like darkthrone have stayed so static and genre bound throughout the years.

Sep 28, 2008 - No, i disagree, life is full arrogant people. Metal used to be filled only with great people who believe in what they do. Now metal is a joke, nobody cares about the music anymore. Very few bands make good music anymore. And the ones that do usually have members that were from the 80's.
