Aug 30, 2008 - Not only do cars get faster and faster they get better handling and more power also.
JJbrubaker Says:
Sep 3, 2008 - Yeah I know the music sucks, I did it myself on Garage Band because I thought I might get in copyright trouble. The car's a ripper though, drives very well and has a nice power surge. Cheers, Jason

Nov 7, 2008 - Ok, Im somewhat confused. Right hand drive ?? Im assuming the vid was posted in some kind of backwards way. but I noticed that the license plate was not in backward form. What gives ... Super nice car either way.
JJbrubaker Says:
Nov 8, 2008 - There were many cars converted to RHD for export to Australia, South Africa,UK etc by the manufacturer (Ford, GM, Chrysler even AMC). Ford converted many Mustangs and even some Mercurys. I own another 1970 XR7 that was converted in the US then shipped here in early 1971. Hope this helps with your confusion.
Rolexwearer Says:
Nov 9, 2008 - I was unaware of this. Crazy stuff. I am curious on how many of these animals are still roaming around. RHD that is. Thank you for the info..

Nov 16, 2008 - Two things: one, does this Eliminator have the Super Drag Pack with the Boss 302 and Top Loader 4-speed, and two, how many Eliminators were exported and converted to RHD? Kinda curious; though that 302 does sound sweet.
JJbrubaker Says:
Nov 17, 2008 - Yes it does have the close ratio box and locker diff. It's a pig to drive in traffic but great on the highway. Not sure how many were imported. US cars have been imported to Australia since the 30s. There are plenty of old 40s Buicks in Australia but not many from that decade on as the local car industry produced better quality cars and more of them.

Nov 21, 2008 - Most muscle cars were inexpensive models aimed at young guys but the Boss 302 Mustang and Eliminator were a bit pricey so I'm guessing that a Mach 1 and Judge are more comparable. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Nov 28, 2008 - I didn't know that either. I had a 69 Eliminator. boy do I ever miss that car!

JJbrubaker Says:
Jun 8, 2008 - The car was imported into Australia in the mid 70s and converted to RHD. It was Australian law then that all cars must be RHD. Today you can drive LHD cars with no need to convert. Cheers, Jason
